The United States Energy Association (www.usea.org) in association with The United States Trade and Development Agency (www.ustda.gov) and the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China (www.en.ndrc.gov.nc) hosted a workshop on the Global Natural Gas/LNG Markets.

The workshop was attended by several hundred high-level industry participants and included presentations by senior U.S. Department of Energy managers and private sector individuals who are highly knowledgeable about the overall gas industry and, specifically natural gas, liquid natural gas, regulatory and gas procurement. The breakout sessions provided information on how these markets work both in the United States and world wide. The training focused on specific U.S. equipment, services, technologies, best practices and standards.
